This series contains meeting and conference notes, correspondence between the Governor's Office and church and community groups, brochures, proposed legislation, and other files pertaining to the Governor's Office of Faith Based and Community Initiatives. Also included in this series are various photographs, audio and visual electronic data including CDs and DVDs, as well as VHS cassette tapes from various faith based organizations. There are also various financial disclosures such as per diem requests and travel expense reports which contain sensitive information that would have to be redacted. This office serves as a catalyst for effective public-private partnerships in an effort to improve lives and strengthen communities. It also works to promote such partnerships and to remove barriers for faith-based and community organizations and nonprofits seeking to access funding and training opportunities.
